Story

In the distant future humanity is on the edge of extinction and still fighting with itself. Massive mechanical warriors fight the last resource wars while the masses waste away in the remaining bastions of civilization.

In a cost saving measure, you are conscripted to become a Biological Computer Mechanic (BCM) and are sealed inside a mech that fulfills what used to be the automatic job of a machine. 

The pilot of this Mech does not and cannot know about your existence, lest they become distracted and fail the mission.

Inspiration

What if you were playing a mech game, but you played as the mech instead of the pilot?

The idea of BAMO was thinking about the role reversal of other Mech type shooters like HAKWEN and Titanfall 2. We so often play these games without thinking about the automatic systems in place. Much like our day to day lives and the people that do their job just to be a small part of our day.
